When EFT might not work.
EFT can be highly effective, and usually works in most situations, amazingly it will even work if the tapper does not believe that it will, but still there are no guarantees it will work.
EFT can be very EFFECTIVE with CHRONIC situations, whether it be pain or mental anguish of any description.
However in ACUTE situations EFT is NOT AS RELIABLE. It is possible that there could be some relief, and amazing things have happened. However if you fall off a ladder and break your leg, have a heart attack or are experiencing extreme and new emotions (like having a panic attack for the first time) EFT might not be the best first port of call!
Some people are more susceptible to EMF than others and it might be wiser to remove sources of this (including mobile phones) if there is a struggle.
Dehydration can be a reason for EFT not working – keep drinking water
It may be that the tapping is just not specific enough. EFT relies heavily on narrowing down feelings and circumstances very specifically to work at its most effective.
Often the reason can be simply that the tapper is gaining more benefit from being affected than they would for feeling better (technical term – psychological or polarity reversal).
For example, an anxiety sufferer, who has chronic pain in the knees and back.
Whether or not they say they want to be better, they will certainly have gains from being ill.
They might be getting a lot of sympathy and benefit from family and friends running round after them doing things for them and giving them lots of positive attention.
They might also be receiving a very good disability benefit which more than meets their financial needs, without having to lift a finger to earn it.
However ill and bad this person feels on a daily basis these are very powerful reasons not to get better.
Getting better would mean having to work for a living, and not so much attention, hmm…. What would you do??
It may also be found that EFT is working to a point but not quite having the desired effect, this is where a skilled practitioner comes into there own.
